Workday Human Resources/Payroll was the second phase of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) initiative. Implemented in 2015, it replaced the business functions previously performed in the University’s legacy administrative systems. It hasl streamlined human resources' business processes into a single, unified, state-of-the-art cloud-based system.
Workday HR impacted all members of the UM community, enabling central offices and individuals to better manage their personal information. With 24/7 easy to use, simple, mobile and secure access from any computer or device with Internet capability, faculty and staff are able to update your address, request vacation time, change a beneficiary, and view compensation and benefit information. UM managers have access to staffing and organizational information and are able to perform approvals and initiate tasks for direct reports.
